Try Journaling

The Morning Call (Allentown, PA), April 10, 2007

Writing can be therapeutic – mentally, physically, and spiritually. Recording your words on paper or computer screen can help you work through issues.
Journaling allows you to process your thoughts and feelings. It can help you gain insight, find solutions, and relieve stress. There are no rules regarding form or content. Anything is acceptable.
You may choose to write regularly or at random, depending on your interest level, available time, and comfort level. Proper pacing is important because journaling too much, too soon can be overwhelming.
For deeply emotional issues such as grief, abuse, and depression, it is recommended that you find a professional counselor to assist you.
